In 2025, ENCOT Foundation transitioned into a fully operational development actor in Uganda’s Mid-Western region, using its Agricultural Value Chains Acceleration Model (AVCAM) to mobilise farmers, strengthen systems, and build partnerships for long-term impact.

ENCOT Foundation was established in Masindi by indigenous community development practitioners and, in 2025, completed its first full year as a stand-alone development organisation with staff, governance systems, and field delivery capacity in place.
The annual report sharpened the Foundation’s structure around five priority areas and highlighted SAAVE, WASH integration, circular economy thinking, and climate-smart development as major growth directions.
